Symbolizing Gods of Life and Death

This concept of my art project is a sublime moment which interprets the symbolizing gods of life and death in the codex Borgia of the ancient Mexican manuscript. The gods of life and death are not only representative symbols but also the meaningful relationship between people’s life and death. These two inevitable gods, the wind god and god of life, Quetzalcoatl, and the god of the underworld, Mictlantecuhtli, depict interesting lines and shapes created by ancient manuscript painters. They inspired me to create wire artwork through copper wires, and eventually, the pieces were displayed within my photography.
